Quality management

Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica has implemented a quality management system certified by Lloyd´s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA) according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard for the following scope:

• Design, sales, manufacture, assembly, installation, commissioning and after sales service of wind turbine generators

This system covers all activities undertaken by the company in this field and is applied in all the workcenters both national and international. The business units of Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica, which manufacture, as well as other products for Industry in general, several major components for wind turbines are also certified according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard.

• Design, manufacture, sales, repair and after sales service for wind turbine generator gearboxes and industrial gearboxes. Spheroidal graphite castings for gearbox components and the general wind industry
• Design, Manufacture and Maintenance of:
  • a).- converters and power electronics equipment to be used in renewable and conventional energies
  • b).- generators for wind turbines, traction motors and low and medium voltage electrical machines.

The different quality certifications according to the ISO 9001:2000 standard allow Gamesa Corporación Tecnológica to give confidence that the methods and activities are uniformly carried out in all workcenters of the group and are aimed at delivering a product and service with guarantees and towards continuous improvement and the increase of customer satisfaction.
