• Gross margin on sales in the wind turbine activity improved compared with 2008 and EBIT reached 7.2%, exceeding forecasts. Outstanding management is likewise observed in working capital control   
• Net profit through end September in the wind turbine activity amounted to € 107 million, despite sector slowdown during the first nine months
• The third quarter was marked by weakness specifically in the Spanish market due to delays in pre-registry implementation
• International markets accounted for 71% of the 2,275 MWe sold during the period
